MARCOM Hero responsibilities include:

  • Working with creative professionals to build marketing projects and campaigns
  • Writing clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
  • Interpreting copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
  • Collaborating with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
  • Conducting high-quality research and interviews
  • Editing and proofreading copy as needed
  • Using SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
  • Advertise products/services on various media
  • Craft and send regular newsletters with updates
  • Track ROI for marketing campaigns
  • Monitor corporate website and social media pages and address clients’ queries
  • Network with industry experts and potential clients to drive brand awareness
  • Gather customer feedback to inform sales and product teams
  • Design social media strategies to achieve marketing targets
  • Manage, create and publish original, high quality content
  • Liaise with writers and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product development teams to create social ‘buzz’ regarding new product launches
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on web traffic and ROI
  • Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices

MARCOM Hero Requirements

  • Proven experience as a MARCOM, Copywriting, Social Media Strategist or related role
  • Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
  • Experience with marketing campaigns on social media
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • An ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them
  • Familiarity with B2B and B2C advertising campaigns
  • Experience with SEO
  • Strong research skills
  • Creativity
  • Collaborative spirit
  • Good presentation skills
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
